We are currently searching for an experienced Trades Assistant to join their workshop team immediately.

The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial/factory based work with experience in mechanical maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.

Main duties for the role will include
Greasing machinery and hydraulics
Working with boilers
Assisting fitters and maintenance team and performing routine checks
General maintenance

On the job training provided for candidates wishing to learn and upskill

Requirements:
Drivers license and own transport
Experience working around industrial machinery, mechanical equipment or plant
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and mechanical components
Ability to assist mechanical tradespeople with repairs, maintenance and installations
Comfortable performing routine equipment checks and general maintenance
Able to pass a pre employment medical including D&A; screen.
