JRM Stonework is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a full time capacity as a Stonemason + Dry Stone Waller. With plenty of projects on the horizon, we are eager to bring on a new team member who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in picturesque locations throughout South Australia.

Location: Based in Lonsdale, SA, with travel to project sites across South Australia.

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

What You'll Be Doing:
Laying stone in mortared and dry stone walled projects including retaining walls, free-standing walls, stone paving and features
Selecting and picking stone at quarries
Cutting, dressing and preparing stone for use on site
Preparing, forming, steeling and pouring concrete footings




Operating hand and power tools safely and competently
Maintaining a clean, secure and organised job site at all times
Providing guidance and assistance to junior crew members
Batching and mixing mortars as required
Reporting site hazards, client feedback and concerns to the Leading Hand

What We Need From You:
Demonstrable experience as a Stonemason and/or Dry Stone Waller (essential)
Ability to work independently and unsupervised
White Card certification
A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to job sites
Excellent people skills and the ability to work well with colleagues, suppliers, and clients
Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure top-quality work
