Mount Barker District Council is seeking a motivated, reliable and community-minded Team Member Civil to join our team.

A hands‑on role working across a growing district, delivering essential civil activities that keeps our roads, drainage and footpaths functional and looking their best for residents and visitors. What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you’ll contribute to the maintenance and improvement of Council infrastructure through a variety of civil works activities, while supporting a solid culture of:

· Safety and teamwork

· High-quality service delivery

About You

· Experience in civil maintenance and/or construction works

· A solid commitment to workplace health and safety





· Experience operating plant and equipment relevant to civil works

· Effective communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

Relevant licences, tickets or qualifications such as:

· Construction Induction (White Card)

· Traffic Management

· Plant Operation tickets will be highly regarded.

A minimum HR Truck Licence is required, with HC desirable.
