Modern Transport Engineers Australia is a family-owned business specialising in the manufacture, sales and service of heavy haulage and specialised transport equipment.

We are looking for an experienced Spare Parts person to join our team in Tingalpa.

This is a role with variety every day, covering parts sales, purchasing and supporting our workshop, with an element of helping to grow our spare parts business.

You'll be responsible for
Handling incoming parts enquiries and selling parts over the phone
Proactively contacting existing and potential customers to generate new parts business
Assisting with parts requirements for our manufacturing and service workshops
Preparing quotes, processing orders and following up opportunities
Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Assisting with the store and stock control as required





We're looking for someone with experience in a similar industry — heavy vehicles, trailers, transport, earthmoving, hydraulics, automotive or industrial equipment. You will be someone who:
Understands parts and how they are used in the real world
Enjoys speaking with customers and suppliers
Not afraid to pick up the phone
Is proactive and follows things through
Has positive computer and administration skills
Wants to learn, grow and be part of something big
