Full time | Pathway into Logistics & Transport Operations
Looking for a career in logistics where every day is different, rapid-paced, and genuinely matters to customers and drivers? MEDLOG is launching a Junior Transport Allocator to develop the next generation of schedulers and operations coordinators.
What you’ll be doing
With support from experienced allocators and transport leaders, you’ll learn how to:
Allocate and schedule container pickups and deliveries across our fleet
Communicate with drivers and customer service to keep jobs moving
Help plan wharf slots and respond to changes quickly
Learn safety, compliance and Chain of Responsibility fundamentals
Build strong admin/reporting habits and contribute to continuous improvement
Track daily performance (e.g. run progress, delays, slot impacts) and help identify patterns and opportunities to improve efficiency
Maintain accurate data and updates in systems — because good scheduling relies on excellent information
What we’re looking for
A confident communicator who can stay calm under pressure
Organised, high attention to detail, and comfortable juggling priorities
Naturally analytical — you enjoy working with numbers, spotting patterns, and using data to improve outcomes
Keen to build a long-term career in transport/logistics
Competent with basic computer systems (Outlook/Excel is a plus — reports, trackers, and daily updates are part of the role)
Safety-first mindset and willingness to learn compliance requirements
