OT Engineer - SCADA

We are seeking an experienced OT Engineer to support and improve a critical Operational Technology environment. The role will combine day-to-day operational support with project work, including the assessment, selection and implementation of new OT technologies.

Key responsibilities
Provide BAU support for OT and SCADA systems
Monitor system performance, availability and security
Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors
Maintain OT infrastructure, networks, access controls and technical documentation
Gather technical and operational requirements for OT improvement projects
Support product evaluations, vendor selection and proof-of-concept activities
Assist with the implementation, integration, testing and transition of recent products into BAU




Work closely with operations, engineering, IT and cybersecurity stakeholders

Skills and experience
Experience supporting Operational Technology or industrial control environments
Robust working knowledge of SCADA systems
Understanding of industrial control systems, OT networks and cybersecurity principles
Experience delivering technology projects within operational or critical environments
Ability to assess technical products and contribute to vendor or product-selection processes
Solid troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder-management skills

Nice to have
Experience with an OT security platform such as Dragos, Claroty or Nozomi Networks
Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, RTUs or industrial communication protocols
Experience implementing new OT products and transitioning them into BAU support
Experience within utilities, energy, manufacturing, transport or other critical infrastructure environments
