Seeking an enthusiastic Orthoptist / Optometrist to work as an ophthalmic assistant in a busy ophthalmic practice in Wangaratta. You will work closely with an ophthalmologist in a small supportive team. The practice is a general ophthalmology clinic, primarily treating cataract, glaucoma and anterior segment conditions, equipped with a Humphrey visual field, OCT, IOLMaster and Pentacam.
Key responsibilities
General history taking
Visual acuity and refraction
Intraocular pressure measurement
Biometry (IOLMaster 700)
Topography (Pentacam)
OCT (Cirrus 5000)
Assisting during minor oculoplastic procedures
Inventory management of medical supplies
