As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Retail Store Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role within a specialised industry, offering long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

About the Role:

This position involves a mix of customer service, sales support, and general store operations. You will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with product enquiries both in-store and over the phone.

Please note: This is a technical role with a steep learning curve (approximately 3 months). Full training will be provided, and we are looking for someone committed to learning and growing within the business.

Daily Tasks
Opening and closing the shop each day
Serving walk in customers
Learn about how auto parts work in a trailer
Stock counting and replenishment
Preparing Click and Collect orders
Maintaining a clean and organized shop
Inventory management
Coordinating the queries regarding orders
Answering phone calls and taking orders

Requirements of the Role




Prior retail knowledge is helpful
Strong work ethic and punctuality
Ability to work well under pressure and make informed decisions
Good communication and computer skills
Effective organizational and time-management skills
Well-presented and reliable
Medium level of physical fitness to handle the 20kg items

Training will be provided to ensure success in your role. Job Type: Casual and or Full time

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule

(8:30am to 5:00pm Monday - Thursday)
(8:30am to 3:00pm Friday)

Experience:
Retail, warehouse experience recommended (1 Year)
