About the role

Reporting to the Head of Processing, you will manage day-to-day maintenance activities at the Nhill site. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will coordinate the maintenance team, support production, and ensure our plant and equipment operate safely and reliably.

Key responsibilities
Leading and coordinating the daily activities of the Nhill maintenance team, including work allocation, priorities and follow-up
Managing preventative and corrective programs
Coordinating breakdown response and ensuring faults are diagnosed, repaired and returned to service in a timely manner
Supporting equipment installation, commissioning and modification of plant and equipment
Identifying equipment reliability issues and recommending improvements, upgrades or replacement options
Coordinating external contractors, ensuring site induction, safety, quality and scope requirements are met
Maintaining appropriate critical spare parts and supporting maintenance cost control
Ensuring maintenance activities meet OH&S;, food safety, QA and environmental requirements
Coaching and developing maintenance team members





About you
Relevant electrical or mechanical trade qualification
Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably food manufacturing or processing
Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience supervising or coordinating a maintenance team
Positive planning, organisation and communication skills
A strong understanding of OHS and food safety requirements
PLC programming or automation experience and relevant licences or tickets will be highly regarded
