Maintenance Fitter

E.C. Throsby is a leading Australian beef processing and distribution company. We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our experienced maintenance team and support the safe and efficient operation of our production facility.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and fault-finding production equipment and mechanical systems across a range of rotating shifts. The role includes participation in scheduled weekend maintenance and shutdowns, which are shared across the maintenance team.

This position requires theability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays as required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, practical and takes pride in doing a positive job.

You will have
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical or equivalent trade qualification
4th Year Apprentices are encouraged to apply
Experience in food processing,



manufacturing or a similar production workplace is highly regarded
Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
A hands-on, can-do attitude
The ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
Current Australian working rights
A genuine interest in building a long-term career with the company

Skills & Experience

Experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:
Mechanical maintenance of production and processing equipment
Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Steam systems
TIG and stick welding
Industrial refrigeration
