Packing Supervisor & Machine operations

About the Company:

Western Berry Company is a family run Blueberry Farm located in Regans Ford, in the Gingin Shire. With recent and ongoing expansion, we are looking someone to join our Packing team to work with & assist the Packing Manager.

Responsibilities:
All operations of blueberry grading machines
Packing complete orders to all major food / grocery retailers
Monitoring food safety, and work health and safety
Assisting packing manager with operations and infrastructure
Effective management of all packing operations daily with a team of up to 30 individuals
Preparing daily, weekly and seasonal packing schedules
Recording and maintaining accurate records
Lead and support teams to achieve performance goals

Key Skills




Full understanding on all TOMRA / BBC Technologies Blueberry Grading machines
Valuable computer skills
High level of written and spoken English
Experience with the operation of pack facility machinery
Forklift licence
Understanding of budget tracking and expenses
Effective problem solver, able to make quick decisions
Proven ability to effectively manage a team
Knowledge of WHS requirements
Current driver's licence
Full work rights to work in Australia

What we offer: With multiple roles available, flexible working arrangements can be considered, Part time or Full time hours. This will be a seasonal position, with the potential to move into a permanent role.
