Our client is a well-established manufacturing business based in Edinburgh North and is looking for a motivated, hands-on person to join their team.

This is a varied and physical role where no two days are necessarily the same. You won't be sitting on a forklift doing the same task all day - you'll work across different areas of the facility and assist where required.

About the Role

Your duties will include:
Operating a forklift
Operating CNC machinery and other foam cutting equipment
Cutting foam accurately to measurements and specifications
Reading and following factory work orders and cutting lists
Assisting the foaming crew with setting up and operating machinery
Transferring chemicals from drums to tanks
Moving between different areas of the facility and assisting the team as required
Following all safety procedures, company policies and workplace instructions

About You

We're looking for someone who is agile, physically fit and enjoys hands-on work. You don't necessarily need previous experience in the foam industry. Candidates with experience operating CNC machinery used for cutting glass, metal, plastics or timber,



including experience in a joinery or manufacturing environment, may transition well into this role.

You'll ideally have
Forklift licence and experience
Experience operating CNC machinery or similar manufacturing equipment
The ability to read measurements, work orders and cutting lists
Good attention to detail
A strong commitment to workplace safety
Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks
A willingness to learn and assist across different areas of the facility
A reliable and positive attitude
Previous manufacturing or factory experience will be highly regarded
