About the role

MKCB PTY LTD is seeking a skilled and experienced Pressure Welder to join our team in Gnangara, Western Australia. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in our company's operations. As a Pressure Welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on a variety of pressure vessels, pipework, and other specialised equipment to the highest safety and quality standards.

What you'll be doing
Executing welding tasks on pressure vessels, pipework, and other specialised equipment to industry-leading standards
Interpreting and following engineering drawings, specifications, and welding procedures
Ensuring all work meets rigorous quality and safety requirements
Collaborating with the wider team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges
Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all welding activities
Undertaking routine maintenance and calibration of welding equipment

What we're looking for
Formal qualifications in welding, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent




Extensive experience as a pressure welder, with a proven track record of high-quality work
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a pressure welder, or equivalent demonstrated competency in high-quality welding work
Strong working knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing
Current White Card and Working at Heights certification
Valid Confined Space certification
Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
