About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Prepress Tooling &
Plate Coordinator to join our busy production team. This hands-on role sits at the critical intersection of prepress asset management and production floor support. You will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary tooling, plates, and silk screens are accurately prepared, inspected, and staged ahead of schedule so our production lines run seamlessly every day.

Key Responsibilities
Tooling &
Asset Management:

Retrieve, check, and stage all appropriate tooling and plates from the library for daily work orders.
Plate &
Screen Production:

Manufacture printing plates and silk screens, including exposing negative and positive images onto raw plate material and coated screens, washing them out, and conducting rigorous quality checks.
Inventory &
Library Control:

File, organize, and maintain the tooling and plate library, returning all assets promptly after job completion.
Maintenance &
Procurement:

Inspect returned tooling for damage, manage inventory levels,



and coordinate the ordering of replacement tooling as needed.
Production Liaison: Work closely with the prepress and production teams to verify that all components match job specifications prior to press deployment.

Skills &
Experience
Experience working in a print, packaging, or manufacturing prepress environment.
Solid mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in plate-making, screen exposure, or washout processes.
Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to inventory tracking, filing, and asset management.
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
Ability to work autonomously and manage daily priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
