About The Role
MPW is seeking an experienced and qualified poly/HDPE welding all-rounder
Based in Castle Forbes Bay, with work locations varying between the CFB factory, Huon Valley, broader southern Tasmania projects, and some distant works (Strahan, Midlands, Launceston etc.) requiring staying away from home
Extrusion, electrofusion and buttwelding depending on scope of works for projects
Plastic fabrications in a workshop setting
Labouring for construction projects and our rotomoulding department
Working in a range of outdoor conditions, rain, hail or shine
Creative thinking and problem solving

About You
Qualified and experienced poly/HDPE welder
Team player and able to support less experienced workers
Accountable and confident working independently




Qualified and personable for liaising with customers and representing MPW
Prioritises safety & quality
HDPE butt welding experience, McElroy TracStar & data logging experience
Construction industry white card
C class car licence (truck classes are an advantage)
Chainsaw, telehandler & excavator tickets &

experience also viewed favourably
Willing to participate in pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and police checks
