We're looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join the team at Acqua Restaurant & Bar, located right on the beautiful Caloundra waterfront.

What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
Checking ingredients and food quality
Using ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Assisting with food preparation, plating and presentation
Preparing meals for dietary requirements when needed
Helping with food storage and stock rotation
Assisting our chefs with menu planning and food preparation
Supporting apprentices and other kitchen team members
Maintaining a clean,



organised and safe kitchen workplace

What we're looking for
At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work well in a team and during busy service periods
Pride in producing quality food and maintaining high standards
Reliable, hardworking and well presented
