We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and proactive Maintenance & Grounds Person to join our friendly resort team in beautiful Burleigh Heads.

This is a casual position offering approximately 25–30 hours per week, with regular Monday to Friday hours and the opportunity for additional shifts when required.

Hours

Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 1:30pm

Approximately 25–30 hours per week

Some flexibility to work additional hours and occasional weekends is required to assist with annual leave, sick leave and other staff coverage when needed.

About the Role

This is a wide-ranging, hands-on position helping to maintain our resort, gardens and facilities to a high standard.

Duties include
Pool and spa cleaning and maintenance
Lawn mowing and general gardening
Maintaining gardens and outdoor areas
Cleaning and upkeep of resort common areas
General apartment maintenance
Minor repairs and general property maintenance
Identifying maintenance issues and proactively attending to jobs around the property
Other general maintenance and grounds duties as required

Is physically active and enjoys a hands-on role
Has general maintenance and practical handyman skills
Is comfortable working outdoors
Can work confidently and efficiently without supervision
Is proactive and able to see what needs to be done
Has excellent attention to detail
Takes pride in keeping the property looking its best
Is friendly and comfortable working around guests and as part of a team
Has flexibility to assist with additional shifts when required
