About the role

ENL Transport is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team in Haigslea, QLD. As a full-time Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our diverse fleet of commercial vehicles, trailers & dolly's ensuring they operate efficiently and safely at all times.

What you'll be doing
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on a wide range of commercial vehicles, including light and heavy-duty trucks, and trailers
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic equipment
Carry out all repair work to the highest standards, completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
Assist with the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs
Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to ensure the fleet is well-maintained and roadworthy

What we're looking for
Qualified and experienced automotive mechanic with a focus on commercial vehicle maintenance
Strong understanding of the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in heavy vehicles
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills




Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Current driver's licence and the ability to obtain relevant heavy vehicle licences
Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
