Female Disability Support Worker – Keilor Lodge VIC

Community Access | Ongoing Saturday Shift | 11:00am–4:00pm

Nextt is looking for a friendly, proactive and engaging Female Disability Support Worker to provide ongoing community access support to a client living in Keilor Lodge, VIC.

This is a great chance for someone who enjoys getting out into the community, building genuine connections and supporting a client to stay active, social and involved in activities they enjoy.

About the Role

You will provide regular 1:1 community access support every Saturday from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

The focus of the role is to support the client to participate in meaningful community activities while encouraging independence, choice and confidence.

Support may include:
Planning and participating in community activities and outings
Supporting social and recreational participation
Exploring new activities and prospects based on the client’s interests
Providing transport to and from community activities where required
Encouraging independence, choice and active participation
Building a positive and consistent working relationship with the client




Providing appropriate guidance and support while respecting the client’s preferences

You will need:
A current valid Driver’s Licence
A reliable vehicle suitable for transporting the client when required
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working With Children Check - Employee
Current First Aid and CPR
Relevant Disability Support Worker experience

Pay Rates B2.1 (Casual)

SCHADS Award B2.1 Casual Rates (before tax):
Base hourly rate: $45.28
Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $49.80
Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $50.71
Saturday: $63.39
Sunday: $81.50
Public holiday: $99.61
