About the role

This is a varied front-desk position where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for providing a warm and professional experience for our patients while supporting the smooth running of our busy practice.

Key responsibilities
Welcoming and assisting patients with a friendly, qualified approach
Managing a busy reception desk, phones, emails and patient enquiries
Scheduling and coordinating appointments across 5 surgeries
Managing recalls, confirmations and cancellations
Processing payments, health fund claims and general administrative tasks
Coordinating treatment plans and assisting with patient follow-up
Liaising closely with dentists, dental assistants and the wider clinical team
Maintaining accurate patient records and practice administration
Helping ensure the practice runs efficiently throughout the day

About you
Has previous dental reception experience
Is comfortable working in a busy, high-volume practice
Can multitask and remain calm under pressure
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work




Has solid attention to detail
Works well as part of a team
Is confident with dental terminology, treatment plans and health fund processes
Understands the importance of patient confidentiality and professionalism
