About the role An established and reputable engineering firm is seeking experienced Boilermakers for ongoing casual mine-site work.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your boilermaking expertise across significant industrial projects, including wash plant and dragline shutdowns. You will join a professional team working with a reputable employer in the mining sector, with regular opportunities available across varying project and shutdown schedules.

Key responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair work during wash plant and dragline shutdowns
Carry out fixed and mobile plant maintenance and repairs
Complete fabrication and welding work to a high standard
Maintain compliance with site safety, quality and environmental requirements

What we’re looking for
Current boilermaker trade qualifications and certification
Proven boilermaking, fabrication and welding experience within industrial or mining settings
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a quick-paced mine-site setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Willingness to work across various mine-site locations




Flexibility to work varying casual project and shutdown schedules

The successful candidate will
Hold a current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
Be able to pass an FCAW butt weld test to ISO standards and a custom fabrication skills test
Hold Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets a plus
