About the role voestalpine Railway Systems Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Boilermaker/Welder to join our team in Bathurst, NSW. As a full-time Boilermaker/Welder, you will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for carrying out various fabrication, welding and assembly tasks within the production team.

What you'll be doing
Operating machinery to fabricate components
Welding and assembling larger structures and components
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and accurate work
Performing quality control checks, such as ensuring manufactured products meet company standards and specifications
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
Adhering to strict safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work environment

What we're looking for
Formal qualifications as a Boilermaker/Welder, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
Expertise in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques, with the ability to work on a variety of materials




Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve technical issues
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to technical specifications
A commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
