About your opportunity
Deliver clinical Social Work services as a member of the community based multidisciplinary allied health team, for adults/older persons within the Townsville University Hospital catchment.
The role works collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, as well as across facilities and services to ensure the provision of a quality service, with a focus on complex health conditions, post-acute and rehabilitation focused interventions, and hospital avoidance and restorative programs.

Requirements
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act **** and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate.
Highly regarded: Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skill in providing clinical social work services with community-based clients who present with chronic and aging health conditions and/or rehabilitation focused needs.
Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
