About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive mechanical issues while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working in a mechanical workshop
Has sound mechanical knowledge and strong diagnostic skills
Holds additional certificates or qualifications (advantageous, but not essential)
Is a permanent Australian resident
Holds a current full Australian driver's licence
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is reliable, motivated and takes pride in their work
Works well as part of a friendly and team-oriented team
Roles & Responsibilities
Service and repair a wide range of automotive mechanical issues
Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently and accurately
Liaise with the owner to ensure daily targets and workloads are achieved
Communicate professionally with staff, suppliers and customers
Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workshop
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a protected working environment
Complete all work to a high standard of quality and professionalism
What We Offer
$40–$48 per hour + superannuation, based on experience and knowledge
