About the role

As our #AAA team continues to grow, we're looking for an Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Newcastle and Hunter region , depending on where you're based - work close to home!
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
n
Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
n
Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
n
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
n
Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
n
n
Required qualifications
n
n
Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA
n
Passionate about community‐based support for people with disability
n
Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
n
Time management & organisational skills to manage varied caseload
n
