We're looking for a flexible and experienced Transport Operations professional to join our team as our go-to relief
planner/supervisor.
n
This is a varied role where no two weeks are necessarily the same. You'll step into different areas of the operation to cover annual leave and keep things running smoothly. Whether that's supporting the planning team, supervising operations, or helping wherever you're needed most.

THE ROLE
n
Provide annual leave coverage across Operations Planning and Supervision
n
Move between roles and teams depending on operational requirements
n
Plan loads, allocate jobs and keep freight moving
n
Monitor drivers, loads and service performance
n
Re-plan when things change and solve issues quickly
n
Support drivers, customers, subcontractors and the wider operations team
n
Maintain high standards of safety, fatigue management and compliance
n
Keep systems, paperwork and operational information accurate
n

This role will suit someone who likes variety and can adapt quickly.
n
You'll need to be comfortable working:
n
Across different operational functions
n
Day shift
n
Occasional Night shifts when required- typically around once a year for annual leave coverage
n
Occasional weekends when required- typically around once a year for annual leave coverage
n
Your roster and responsibilities will change depending on who is on leave and where the business needs support.

ABOUT YOU
n
Transport operations experience
n
Solid communication and problem-solving skills
n
Highly organised with great attention to detail
n
Comfortable working across different shifts and teams
n
Ignition and Translogix experience highly regarded
n
Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (training can be provided)
