City of Newcastle is offering a casual Lifeguard Summer Traineeship for school-aged Surf Lifesavers to patrol Newcastle's beaches and ocean baths, supporting safety and wellbeing. You will work up to 24 hours over three weekdays during the summer holidays alongside qualified lifeguards.
Successful applicants gain frontline experience, learn from seasoned lifeguards, and contribute to a protected, inclusive coastal setting while starting your lifeguard career with the City.
