We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our busy medical centre in Dubbo on a part-time basis.
n
As a Practice Nurse, you'll work closely with our GPs and healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care across treatment room nursing, chronic disease management, preventative health, and nurse-led clinics. About The Role
n
In this role, you will:
n
n
Deliver quality nursing care within the treatment room environment.
n
Administer vaccinations and assist with immunisation programs.
n
Perform clinical procedures including wound care, ECGs, spirometry, dressings, plastering, and suture removal.
n
Assist with chronic disease management including Health Assessments, GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, and Reviews.
n
Support nurse-led clinics and patient education initiatives.
n
Conduct health checks and identify opportunities to improve patient health outcomes.
n
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
n
Assist with infection control, stock management, and accreditation requirements.
n




Work collaboratively with GPs and the broader healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
Essential
n
n
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
Bachelor of Nursing qualification.
n
Robust clinical assessment and patient care skills.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
n
Desirable
n
n
Previous experience in General Practice or Primary Care.
n
Experience in chronic disease management and health promotion.
n
Minimum 2 years' experience providing direct clinical nursing care.
n
