Procurement Manager - Aviation - Canberra based

Link Airways and Corporate Air provide airline and air charter services to customers in eastern and southern Australia.
n
We are currently seeking a suitably experienced AMO Procurement Manager to join our team, based at either our Canberra head office or Goulburn heavy maintenance facility.
n
As the AMO Procurement Manager you will be responsible for:
n
n
Ensuring that all procurement adheres to CASA requirements and Company internal policy.
n
Managing day-to-day purchasing activities to support scheduled and AOG aircraft maintenance requirements.
n
Actioning parts requisition, managing stock levels, tracking and reporting on the status of purchase orders and deliveries to relevant departments.
n
Identifying, evaluating, managing, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
n
Staying informed on price changes, supply chain trends, and new suppliers in order to achieve competitive pricing and turnaround times.
n
Working together with Senior Management and the CAMO and AMO teams to ensure efficient supply chain workflows.
n
Administering supplier warranty programs and tracking expenditure against budgets.
n
Leading, training and developing AMO Stores personnel.
n
n
We are looking for:
n
n
At least 2 years' experience in a senior aviation maintenance procurement role.
n
Completed a course in procurement, logistics,



supply chain management (highly desirable).
n
Knowledge of CASR Part ****** and other regulations applicable to the maintenance of aircraft.
n
Use of at least one computerised aviation inventory management system such as WinAir, AvTrak, CESCOM or CAMP.
n
Exceptional communication and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and fulfil deadlines in a quick-paced work setting.
n
Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to keep precise records, technical data, and certification paperwork.
n
Excellent negotiating and supplier management abilities, including familiarity with vendor agreements, warranties, and OEM and supplier programs.
n
A commercially focused mindset and financial reconciliation experience (warranties, purchase orders, invoices, and freight).
n
Comprehensive knowledge of Office suite (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel.)
n
Have the legal right to work in Australia on a full time and long-term basis.
n
Forklift license and Dangerous Goods certifications (highly desirable).?
n
Hold or be eligible to hold an ASIC card.
n
n
