Metroll Dubbo is looking for an organised and detail-focused Accounts Payable Officer to join our team in Dubbo.

About The Role
n
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll manage the end-to-end accounts payable process and help ensure invoices and supplier payments are processed accurately and on time.
n
n
Processing and coding supplier invoices
n
Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation
n
Checking invoices for accuracy and resolving discrepancies
n
Processing supplier payments and maintaining payment records
n
Reconciling supplier statements
n
Responding to supplier queries and following up outstanding issues
n
Maintaining accurate supplier records
n
Assisting with month-end accounts payable activities
n
Supporting reconciliations and general finance administration
n
Maintaining organised and accurate financial records
n
Working closely with purchasing, operations and other internal teams
n
Identifying and resolving invoice and payment issues in a timely manner
n
n
About You
n
You'll be someone who takes pride in getting the details right, enjoys keeping things organised and is comfortable working in a hands-on environment.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
A good understanding of accounts payable processes
n




Excellent organisation and time management skills
n
Solid communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with suppliers
n
Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems
n
The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
n
A proactive approach and willingness to get involved
n
Experience with accounting or ERP systems will be highly regarded
n

Desirable
n
n
Experience in a manufacturing, construction, trade or distribution environment
n
Experience working with ERP or accounting systems
n
Exposure to month-end processes and reconciliations
n
Broader finance administration experience
n
