As a Packaging Line Business Manager, you'll lead a high-performing production team within one of Australia's leading beverage manufacturers. This role is responsible for delivering safe, efficient and quality-focused manufacturing outcomes while fostering an engaged and empowered team culture.

Working closely with Operations, Quality, Planning, Maintenance and Reliability teams, you'll drive performance across key operational metrics while creating an environment where people can do their best work.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Production Performance
n
n
Deliver the production plan safely, efficiently and to schedule
n
Monitor line performance, efficiencies and downtime to identify improvement opportunities
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and reduce waste
n
Ensure appropriate resourcing is in place to meet operational requirements
n
n
Champion Quality & Compliance
n
n
Maintain high product quality standards across packaging operations
n
Lead investigations into customer and consumer quality concerns
n




Support and manage compliance activities including GMP, HACCP and ISO requirements
n
Work closely with quality and supply stakeholders to ensure continuity of materials and finished product quality
n
n
Drive Operational Excellence
n
n
Manage labour utilisation and support delivery of operational budgets
n
Monitor production variances and implement corrective actions where required
n
Partner with Maintenance and Reliability teams to improve asset performance and line stability
n
Support initiatives that improve manufacturing efficiency and capability
n
Lead, coach and develop a team of frontline employees
n
Build an engaged, accountable and high-performing team culture
n
Support performance, development and succession planning processes
n
Lead change initiatives and help teams adapt to new ways of working
n

Safety & Sustainability
n
n
Foster a strong safety-first culture where everyone goes home safely
n
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
n
Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety, food safety and environmental performance
n




Encourage proactive identification and management of risks and hazards

About You
n
You're a collaborative and capable people leader who enjoys balancing operational performance with team development. You bring a proactive mindset, strong communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

You'll also bring:

Experience leading teams within a manufacturing, production or supply chain environment
n
A track record of achieving operational results through engaged and motivated teams
n
Solid problem-solving and decision-making capability
n
Experience working with quality and compliance frameworks such as GMP, HACCP or ISO standards
n
The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across operations and support functions
n
Experience using SAP, Microsoft Office and other operational systems
n
Well-developed communication, coaching and change leadership skills
n
Qualifications in Engineering, Food Technology, Science, Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded
n
