We're looking for a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team as we prepare for a range of exciting upcoming events, including Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular and also for our regular venue operations at Carriageworks.

You'll be part of the Food & Beverage team delivering an exceptional guest experience — preparing and presenting food efficiently while helping keep kitchen operations running smoothly across both touring productions and venue-based events.

Expect big crowds, high energy, and plenty of showtime excitement, whether working at Carriageworks or supporting major live productions.

What You'll Be Doing

Deliver quality food service
n
n
Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard in a quick-paced environment
n
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
n
n
Support kitchen operations
n
n




Assist with food preparation and service during busy show periods
n
Work closely with the kitchen and F&B; team to ensure smooth service
n
n
Maintain kitchen standards
n
n
Keep kitchen areas clean, organised, and well-presented
n
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
n
n
Assist with stock and setup
n
n
Support stock rotation and replenishment
n
Assist with kitchen setup, pack down, and equipment organisation where required
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Previous experience as Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
n
Ability to stay orgsanised and efficient during high-volume service periods
n
Strong teamwork and communication skills
n
A proactive attitude and passion for quality food service
n
n
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the theatre season
n
