The job

A well-established stone fabrication business in Canberra is looking for an experienced Estimator to price and prepare stone benchtop projects from first enquiry through to production.
n
You'll own the estimating process - turning plans, drawings and site measures into accurate quotes, then setting each job up cleanly for the workshop. It's a detail-focused role for someone who knows stone and takes pride in getting the numbers right.

What you'll be doing

Prepare accurate quotes and tenders for natural stone and porcelain benchtop projects
n
Interpret architectural plans, shop drawings and site measurements
n
Prepare and manage nesting and cutting files for production
n
Liaise with clients, builders and the workshop team
n




Write clear scopes of work and job documentation
n
Help plan job timelines and keep the estimating process running smoothly
n

This is a stable, full-time role with an established Canberra fabricator that has a steady pipeline of residential and commercial work and a close-knit team.

What you'll need

Experience estimating in the stone or benchtop industry
n
Confident reading plans, shop drawings and site measures
n
Familiar with nesting/cutting and estimating software
n
Strong knowledge of natural stone and fabrication methods

High attention to detail and accuracy

Clear communicator with clients and production teams
