About the Role
n Limelight People are recruiting a Mental Health Lead Clinician to join a friendly and supportive Community Mental Health and Wellbeing team in Regional Victoria.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mental health professional to develop their clinical skills while making a positive impact within the community and working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
n Working within an integrated community mental health team, and under the direction of the team psychiatrist, manager and senior clinician, you will provide recovery-focused treatment and support to consumers experiencing mental illness throughout all stages of their illness.
n The team provides care to adults aged ***** years, supporting consumers within their communities and promoting recovery, wellbeing and independence.

Full-time: 80 hours per fortnight with an ADO every 4 weeks
n
Part-time: ***** hours per fortnight

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide recovery-focused treatment and support to consumers experiencing mental illness.
n
Provide clinical leadership within an integrated multidisciplinary community mental health team.
n
Undertake mental health assessments and contribute to clinical decision-making.
n
Develop and review recovery-focused treatment and care plans.
n
Support consumers throughout different stages of mental illness.
n
Monitor consumer wellbeing, progress and changing clinical needs.
n
Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, senior clinicians, managers and multidisciplinary team members.
n
Build strong relationships with consumers, carers, families and community services.
n
Promote recovery,



independence and community participation.
n
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case reviews and clinical
discussions.Maintain
accurate clinical documentation.
n
Contribute to quality improvement, service development and clinical governance.
n

Requirements

Relevant professional registration and qualifications applicable to the position classification.
n
Demonstrated experience working within mental health services.
n
Strong understanding of contemporary, recovery-focused mental health practice.
n
Demonstrated clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
n
Ability to provide clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary environment.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
