Job Description
Marketing Manager
n
About us
n
Founded in Sydney in ****, ezyCollect by Sidetrade is Australia's leading Order-to-Cash platform for small and mid-sized businesses. We automate credit management, collections, and payments, taking the manual work out of getting paid. Our 1,500+ customers manage A$19 billion in receivables through the platform, typically cutting late payments by 40% and bad debt by 80% within three months.
n
Now part of global AI leader Sidetrade, we're scaling our reach across three continents, bringing enterprise-grade technology to the mid-market while staying true to our Sydney roots. Australian innovation. Global ambition.
n
Why this role exists
n
Marketing here runs lean, and the range of work is broad: campaigns, content, digital, design, and product marketing all sit under one roof. Not everything can happen at once, and the highest-leverage work is turning what we build into messaging our customers, prospects, and Sales team can actually use.
n
Product marketing is the area we most need strength in right now. As we ship faster, we need someone who can take a feature from release to market end to end, writing the messaging and building the enablement material themselves, not relying on outside help to explain what shipped.
n
This is a high-ownership, high-autonomy role. You'll shape how marketing operates day to day, and there's real room to grow as the function scales.
n
Your team
n
You'll report to the Head of Marketing, who owns strategy; you own the operating rhythm that turns it into delivered work. You'll work closely cross-functionally; with Sales, Product, and Customer Success, and act as the local anchor for a business also operating across the globe (North America, UK, Europe, Brazil and the Philippines), where parts of the working day run on different clocks.
n
The team is small, practical, and hands-on. We value clear writing, credible judgement, and getting things shipped without unnecessary process.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Product marketing and launch
n
n
Translate product releases into explicit messaging for customers, prospects, and Sales.
n
Write and maintain product pages, feature copy, release communication, and sales enablement material.
n
Build and maintain the sales enablement library: one-pagers, battlecards, decks, objection handling.
n
Coordinate launch timing and materials with Product, Sales, and Customer Success so launches land together.
n
n
Planning and coordination
n
n
Own the marketing calendar across channels, campaigns, contributors, and launches.
n
Run intake and triage for requests from Sales, Product, Customer Success, and the Executive Team.
n
Write and coordinate briefs for contributors, agencies, and freelancers.
n
Review content and creative before it ships for accuracy and consistency.
n
n
Content and creative
n
n
Produce content directly: blogs, social, product updates, customer communication, campaign assets.
n
Design marketing assets to a professional standard: landing pages, ad and social creative, one-pagers, email templates, presentations.
n
Work within the existing design system and extend it thoughtfully when a new format requires it.
n
n
Campaigns and growth
n
n
Plan and execute campaigns that drive demand, adoption, retention, and brand visibility.
n
Coordinate content, creative, website, email, paid, and organic so campaigns launch complete.
n
Scope tracking and attribution into every campaign from the start.
n
Support webinars, events, and customer lifecycle programs.
n
n
Digital and performance
n
n
Manage website structure, content updates,
and landing pages with the relevant specialists.
n
Deliver organic growth initiatives across search and other discovery surfaces.
n
Report on performance to a fixed cadence with clear takeaways and next actions.
n
n
About you
n
n
4+ years in marketing, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS. Ideally experience with Fintech/Payments.
n
Real product marketing experience: you've taken a feature or product to market and written the messaging yourself.
n
A track record delivering across content, digital, campaigns, and product marketing, not just one lane.
n
Experience managing a marketing calendar and multiple concurrent campaigns.
n
Experience reviewing and coordinating work from people who don't report to you.
n
Design skills you can show through real work: comfortable in Figma or equivalent, producing on-brand creative.
n
A practical AI workflow: you can show where it speeds you up and where you keep judgement human.
n
Experience with CRM and automation platforms, ideally HubSpot.
n
Confident writing first-draft copy, clear briefs, and stakeholder updates without relying on an agency.
n
Strong grasp of organic growth and analytics, including GA4 and Search Console.
n
Experience working directly with Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
n
n
What we offer
n
High autonomy and trust: you own the operating rhythm of marketing, and you're trusted to make the calls without being micromanaged.
n
Meaningful, visible work: own product launches end to end and shape how marketing works as the team scales.
n
Collaborative culture: work with a practical, hands-on team that values clear writing, good judgement, and getting things shipped.
n
Cross-functional exposure: work directly with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and the Executive Team, not at a remove from the business.
n
Room to grow: as the business scales, there's real potential for this role to grow with it.
