Job Description
n
Support the supply, maintenance and quality of Victoria's foundational spatial data
n
Acquire imagery, elevation and 3D data, particularly satellite imagery
n
Support procurement and contract management
n
Work with stakeholders to understand requirements
n
Provide specialist advice on geospatial imaging and data
n
Prepare project specifications
n
Support financial and invoice management
n
Contribute to quality assurance, product development and service improvements
n
Collaborate across government to improve public sector investment in spatial data
n
n
Requirements
n
n
Experience in GIS, remote sensing and programming (mandatory)
n
Experience managing small to medium projects independently, delivering to agreed scope, time and budget (mandatory)
n
Relevant qualifications or experience in geomatics, surveying, geoinformatics, spatial sciences or information technology (mandatory)
n
Relevant pre-employment screening and reference checks required
n
Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the position
n
Ability to deliver projects effectively, prioritise tasks, maintain accurate records and work to agreed plans and priorities
n
Ability to manage contracts, monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance and address risks
n
