Followmont Transport is seeking an experienced Tug Driver / Yard Operator to join our Sydney operations team. Working closely with our Fleet Controllers and Operations team, you'll play a key role in safely positioning trailers, supporting freight movements and helping keep our depot operating efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Moving trailers in and out of loading and unloading areas using a tug
n
Coordinating trailer movements with Fleet Controllers and Operations
n
Operating a forklift to load, unload and stage freight
n
Assisting with trailer preparation, load restraint, straps, gates and curtains
n
Supporting yard and operational activities as required
n
Occasionally relocating trailers and equipment around the depot
n
Following all safety and compliance procedures
n
n
What You'll Need
n
n
Current MC Licence
n
Current LF Forklift Licence
n
Previous transport yard or operational experience
n




Tug driving experience advantageous but not essential
n
Strong safety focus and attention to detail
n
Reliable attitude and ability to work within a team
n
Ability to pass a medical, drug & alcohol screen and criminal history check
n
