About the role
n This role plays a key part in supporting department, branch, and corporate goals across profit, growth, service, and strong producer and client relationships.

In this role, you will:

Achieve personal premium budget and financial targets across rate, retention, current business, and renewals
n
Underwrite within delegated authority across all lines, including new business, renewals, and endorsements
n
Assess risks outside authority and make clear recommendations for acceptance or declination
n
Support underwriting analysis, profit review, market insight, competitor analysis, and ad hoc reporting
n
Take ownership of underwriting results for your assigned portfolio
n
Monitor claims activity and communicate with stakeholders as needed
n
Help improve and develop the renewal process
n
Build and manage strong producer relationships, responding to queries and resolving issues
n
Keep stakeholders informed of market and producer challenges
n
Support underwriting training and producer relationship development where required
n
Deliver exceptional service to both external and internal stakeholders
