Job Description
Full Time | $85,000 – $95,000 + super + on-call allowance

Traffic Force is looking for an Operations Supervisor to help drive the day-to-day performance of our workforce and operational activities.
n
Based in Perth, this is a people-focused operations role that combines workforce planning, rostering, scheduling, performance management, compliance monitoring, investigations and operational administration across our Perth and Bunbury teams.

What you'll be doing
n
Workforce Coordination & Scheduling
n
n
Coordinating daily rosters and workforce scheduling
n
Ensuring all shifts are appropriately resourced
n
Managing workforce changes and operational requirements
n
Supporting leave planning and workforce availability
n
n
People & Performance Management
n
n
Monitoring attendance, punctuality and workplace performance
n
Having difficult conversations when standards are not met
n
Managing performance concerns and documenting outcomes
n
Conducting coaching, mentoring and performance improvement discussions
n
Supporting recruitment and onboarding activities
n
n
Compliance & Administration
n
n
Maintaining accurate operational records and documentation
n
Ensuring operational processes are followed consistently
n
Reviewing and processing operational paperwork
n
Using company systems and Microsoft Office daily
n
Preparing reports and documenting investigations
n
n
Safety & Operational Oversight
n
n
Conducting worksite audits and observations
n
Investigating incidents and identifying improvement opportunities
n
Monitoring compliance with company standards and procedures
n
n
Supporting secure and efficient daily operations
n
Visiting sites when required to provide operational support and leadership
n
What we're looking for (Must-haves)
n
To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate:
n
n
At least 2 years' experience supervising and leading 20+ people.
n
Previous experience working in either the construction, logistics, retail or hospitality industry.
n
Demonstrated experience implementing day to day incident reporting and investigation processes, including implementation of
corrective/preventative
actions.
n
Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams to meet service delivery standards.
n
Strong digital literacy with demonstrated experience using software within the Microsoft suite (eg. Outlook, Word, Excel, Copilot etc.).
n
Demonstrated strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the confidence to the first point of call for a variety of people on a daily basis. You will also be required to document communications in writing across various systems daily.
n
Demonstrated strong logical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who approaches challenges with a clear, structured, and analytical mindset and can "think outside the box" to generate innovative and well-reasoned solutions.

Ability to participate in a rotating on call roster (one weekend every 8 weeks + 2 mid‐week nights per month).
n
