About the role
n
This is an opportunity to help create the culture, values and vision of a new boutique 40-place early learning service in Campsie alongside experienced owner who genuinely understand and value early childhood education. As Director / Nominated Supervisor, you will guide the centre through final decoration and compliance sign-off before opening, recruit and build your educator team from scratch, set the tone for systems, culture and day-to-day operations, grow enrolments and occupancy from zero, and act as Nominated Supervisor once open.

Key responsibilities
n
Guide the centre through final decoration and compliance sign-off before opening

Recruit and build your educator team from scratch
n
Set the tone: systems, culture, day-to-day operations
n
Grow enrolments and occupancy from zero
n
Act as Nominated Supervisor once open
n
Lead, mentor and develop educators
n
Handle compliance, staffing, rostering and performance
n
Build relationships with children, families, and navigate tough conversations
n
About you
n
5+ years' experience as a Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor
n
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
n
Strong, current knowledge of the NQF, NQS, National Law and Regulations
n
Strong knowledge of Child safety and protection
n
Proven track record leading, mentoring and developing educators
n
Confident handling compliance, staffing, rostering and performance
n
Skilled at building relationships with children, families, and navigating tough conversations
n
Proven record of building occupancy
n
Organised, hands-on, and a natural leader who knows their centre inside out
n
Current NSW Working With Children Check and Police check
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certs (or willing to obtain)
