Education: Minimum of Certificate 3 in commercial cookery or above.

KKN Foods Pty Ltd is a renowned Indian restaurant in Brisbane, QLD, known for its authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team on a full-time basis.
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of Indian dishes to our customers.
Your main duties will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and cooking a range of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, and biryanis, according to our recipes and standards.
- Ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and productive manner.
- Monitoring food stock levels and placing orders for ingredients as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen at all times.
- Complying with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Training and supervising junior kitchen staff.
To be successful in this role,



you must have a minimum of Certificate 3 in commercial cookery and at least 12 months of experience in cooking Indian cuisine.
You must also have a strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and traditional dishes.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and qualities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of $75,000 to $78,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience and qualifications.
