As the
Venue Manager
you will be reporting to the F&B; Operations Manager and responsible for the entire venue operation of Sokyo in partnership with the Executive Chef, ensuing a positive and exciting environment where flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount.
Sports Bar
- Our hub for all mega sporting events.
All your pub favourites, bar and entertainment lineups weekly, and over 50 LCD TVS.

A few of your responsibilities:
Deliver impeccable standards of professionalism and demonstrate commitment to guest and team experience
Build a guest culture to continuously deliver a thrilling experience in line with The Star's Values
Manage day-to-day operations,



meeting the quality, standards, and expectations of our guests
Review and analyse the daily operational needs maintaining beverage, labour, product and expenses on budget
Attract and develop talent and own the performance of your team
What are we looking for:
Proven leadership experience and the ability to develop large teams including succession planning, retention, and growth strategies
Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management, controlling labour costs and operating expenses
Experience in developing productive relationships and managing and driving change
Experience in managing high-end award-winning restaurants, bars, or outlet
Flexible availability to meet the demands of a 24/7 business

You leverage your leadership skills to encourage and support your team in delivering exceptional and personalised service to guests and value the ability to showcase the best produce Australia has to offer.
