Followmont Transport is seeking an experienced Senior Fleet Controller to coordinate fleet movements, manage driver activities and support the day-to‐day operation of our Townsville depot.
n
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, thrives in a fast-paced workplace and can confidently coordinate a large volume of freight and driver movements.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Coordinating daily fleet movements and driver activities
n
Managing delivery schedules and route planning
n
Acting as the key point of contact for drivers throughout the day
n
Monitoring service performance and resolving operational issues
n
Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and safety requirements
n
Tracking operational performance and reporting metrics
n
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery
n
n
What You'll Need
n
n
Previous Fleet Controller, Dispatch or Transport Operations experience




n
Strong understanding of transport and logistics operations
n
Excellent planning and organisational skills
n
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
Advanced Excel and reporting capability
n
Understanding of dangerous goods and transport compliance requirements
n
Strong knowledge of Townsville and surrounding regions
n
