The Opportunity

Royal Freemasons Springtime Residential Aged Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Team Leader Registered Nurse to join our clinical care team on a 9-month fixed-term parental leave contract commencing 1 October ****.
n
In this rewarding leadership role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents while providing guidance, support, and clinical leadership to our dedicated care team. You will help foster a positive care environment that promotes resident wellbeing, dignity, and the highest standards of clinical practice.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is available to work the following roster: Thursday to Sunday 07:******:15pm on a fortnightly roster.
n
Your responsibilities:
n
n
Lead and coordinate staff to deliver safe, high-quality resident care.
n
Complete AN-ACC assessments, care plans, and documentation.
n
Administer medications and provide direct resident care.
n
Manage wound care, assessments, and reviews.
n
Liaise with GPs and allied health professionals.
n
Support, mentor, and manage team performance.
n
Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, OH&S;, and organisational policies.
n
Monitor clinical resources and costs effectively.
n
Promote clear,



qualified communication with residents, families, and stakeholders.
n
Contribute to continuous improvement and positive resident outcomes.
n
n
Who You Are:
n
n
Demonstrated experience in wound management, dementia care, and palliative care.
n
Previous team leadership experience within an aged care setting is highly regarded.
n
Minimum three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in aged care.
n
Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
n
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team to achieve excellent resident outcomes.
n
Customer-focused with a strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
n
n
Mandatory Requirements:
n
n
Current APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check
n
Vaccinated against Covid and Flu highly encouraged
n
n
