Senior Project Engineer – Water Infrastructure

Tallai is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a major water treatment project based in Jindabyne.
n
This role requires a strong civil construction background, ideally gained across water, wastewater or major infrastructure projects. We are specifically looking for civil engineering experience rather than a mechanical background.

The Role
n
n
Support the delivery of civil works across the project
n
Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site activities
n
Coordinate construction programs, procurement and project documentation
n
Monitor project costs, progress, quality and safety
n
Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements
n
Work closely with the Project Manager, site team, client and key stakeholders
n
Identify and resolve engineering and construction issues
n




Support the successful delivery of the project through to completion
n

About You
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
n
Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer
n
Strong civil construction background
n
Water or wastewater infrastructure experience is highly regarded
n
Experience delivering concrete structures, pipelines, earthworks and associated civil works
n
Strong commercial, planning and subcontractor management skills
n
Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
n
