Our client is a family-owned organisation specialising in premium complementary medicine and functional food ingredients across Australia and New Zealand. Recognised for the quality of their ingredients and industry-leading technical documentation, they partner with some of the region's most recognised health and wellness brands. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a Quality & Technical Specialist to join their Scientific Affairs team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys vendor assurance, raw material assessment, quality systems, and technical documentation within a GMP-regulated environment. The role is predominantly office-based and offers the opportunity to become a key contributor to the company's future quality digitalisation initiatives.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Senior Scientific Affairs Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of complementary medicine and functional food ingredients supplied throughout Australia and Recent Zealand.
n
n
Managing and maintaining Vendor Qualification Packages and Technical Information Packages.
n
Evaluating raw materials and reviewing technical documentation from a quality and compliance perspective.
n
Maintaining quality systems, SOPs, change controls, and non-conformance processes.
n
Ensuring manufacturer declarations, permits, certifications, and supporting documentation remain current and compliant.
n
Liaising with suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders regarding quality requirements.
n
Supporting vendor assurance activities and product compliance initiatives.
n
Assisting with the implementation of quality system improvements and future digitalisation projects.
n

About You
n
To be successful, you will bring:
n
n
Experience working in Quality Assurance within a GMP-regulated environment such as complementary medicines, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, food, or related industries.
n
Strong knowledge of GMP, PIC/S requirements, and TGA regulations.
n
Experience reviewing technical documentation, specifications, and supplier quality documentation.
n
A Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
n
Exceptional attention to detail and documentation management skills.
n
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
