A veterinary hospital in Samford Valley is looking to build its pool of Locum Veterinary Nurses who can assist with full-day weekend shifts on an ad hoc basis.
n
This could be a excellent option if you're already working during the week and would like to pick up occasional weekend work without committing to a regular second role.
n
The Role
n
You'll be supporting a busy veterinary hospital seeing a combination of general practice and emergency cases.
n
The team is particularly open to nurses with a strong GP background. Previous ECC experience is beneficial but isn't essential,



particularly for experienced nurses who are interested in developing their emergency and hospital nursing skills.

About You
n
Ideally, you will:
n
n
Have solid small animal veterinary nursing experience
n
Be confident with general nursing duties and patient care
n
Have good communication and teamwork skills
n
Be comfortable within a busy hospital environment
n
Have some ECC exposure or an interest in gaining further experience
n
Be available for occasional full-day weekend shifts
n
n
The hospital is happy to support nurses transitioning from GP into a role with greater exposure to emergency cases.
