WhatYou'llBe Doing
n
Strategiclegaladvice
:Providestrategic legal advice ona broad range ofemployment law matters, including litigation, daily employment
issues,workplaceinvestigations,transactions,disciplinary
actions,
discriminationmatters,safety
matters,and terminationissues.
n
Disputeresolution and litigation
:Independently
managelitigationmattersand
advise on contentious disputes involving employees and former employees.This
includesappearingin,orpartnering
with our external law firm partners to conduct litigation in,the Fair Work Commission, anti-
discriminationtribunalsand




Federal Courts.
n
Sensitive workplace investigations
:Advise onsensitive workplace
investigations,regulatory
matters, executive employmentmatters, legislative reform, employment-
relatedcomplianceand
psychosocial risk.
n
Transactions and strategic business projects:
Adviseontheemployment
aspects of transactionsand strategic
initiatives,including
partnering with external counsel
andassistingthebusinesswithemployment
relatedissuesarising
fromorganisationalchange.
n
Governance and risk management:
Adviseonenterprise-wideprojects, such aspsychosocial risk frameworksand emerging workplace law developments.
About You and Your Skills
n
Qualifications:
Legal qualification and current practicing certificate.
n
Experience:
5+yearsPQE in employment law, with a proventrack recordin litigation at the Fair Work Commission.
n
Expertise:
Managingcomplexemployment
law matters in
largeorganisations,
ideally ASX listed.
n
Preferred Background:
Significant private
practiceexperience,
ideally combined with in-house, secondment, and/or workplace relations experience.
n
Skills:
Ability to manage a variety of
stakeholders,strong
litigation skills in the Fair Work Commission,handle change in a fast-paced environment, strong interpersonal and influencing skills, client andsolutions-focused, motivated with a can-do attitude, and adept at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
