Job Description
You will work as part of the production team while also assisting with the day-to-day coordination of the factory floor. This is a hands-on position first and foremost, where you will work alongside the team on the factory floor while also helping organise the daily workload and keeping production moving.

Key responsibilities

Working hands-on within the production area
n
Operating and assisting with manufacturing equipment and processes
n
Helping allocate daily jobs and priorities to the production team
n
Assisting employees where required to keep production moving
n
Monitoring workflow and helping ensure daily production targets are achieved
n
Checking that completed work meets quality requirements
n
Helping maintain a safe, clean and organised workplace
n
Assisting with pre-starts and toolbox discussions
n




Reporting production or equipment issues to management
n
Helping new employees learn the production processes
n

About you
n
n
Previous manufacturing, production or factory experience
n
Experience operating machinery or working within a production environment
n
Some experience as a Leading Hand, senior operator or informal team leader would be advantageous
n
A practical, hands-on approach
n
The confidence to provide direction to other employees when required
n
The ability to organise your own work and help coordinate others
n
A robust focus on safety and quality
n
A reliable attitude and good attendance
n
The ability to work as part of a team
