The Role
As an Excavator Operator, you'll play an important role in delivering safe and productive mining operations.
You'll operate large-scale excavators to efficiently load haul trucks while working to the mine plan and maintaining high standards of safety, productivity and equipment care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating 120T+ excavators and D9+ dozers
Loading haul trucks safely and efficiently
Completing pre-starts and routine equipment inspections




Identifying and reporting equipment faults
Working closely with Supervisors and production crews
Following mine plans, site procedures and operational standards
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and equipment care
Working safely to achieve daily production targets
What You'll Bring
We're looking for experienced operators with a proven background in open-cut production mining.
You'll have:
Demonstrated experience operating 120T+ excavators
Experience operating D9+ dozers
Proven open-cut mining experience
Current RII competencies and/or verifiable operating history
Strong knowledge of excavation and truck loading practices
A strong commitment to safety
Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a production team
Flexibility to work a 7/7 rotating day/night roster
